Soaked by the pouring rain, Antek invites Jagusia to peel cabbage. Gazing at the woman, he has not yet noticed that he is holding her basket in his hands. Several lines of rain streaks are visible in the frame. Rain and snow are extremely difficult motifs to paint in animation. Mainly due to the number of drops and the need to recreate the background and the associated afterimages, only a minimal amount of them were animated. The rest of the rain was animated separately on a gray background and then superimposed on the shot in post-production.
