A very interesting shot in which we used two painterly inspirations. The shot begins with the first frame, which is an adaptation of Józef Chełmoński's famous painting “Kuropatwy” (Partridges). The moving camera pans to the right, revealing the background of a snowy landscape, with Hanka trudging through the snow. The figure of Hanka carrying brushwood is, in turn, a loose adaptation of another painting—Julian Fałat's “With Brushwood.”
