A wide shot from the scene in the mill. The frame shown is the last shot (no. 290) of this scene, painted by Teodora Dragan Nikolić. The film features a twin shot (no. 250), painted on the same canvas, but by a different artist (albeit with the same surname), Dragan Nikolić. The shot itself was extremely complicated in terms of production. The live action footage was recorded in the summer outdoors, on a footbridge over the water. Both the mill building itself, the mill wheel, and the entire winter atmosphere were added during the composition stage. We were mainly inspired by three paintings by Ferdynand Ruszczyc depicting a mill in winter.
