Jagna and Boryna’s first dance. This is an exceptionally challenging shot, with a moving camera and numerous characters to animate. Yet the artist succeeds in preserving the distinct personalities and expressions on the small faces. Behind the young couple dancing on the left, Szymek, Dominikowa, and Józka laugh and enjoy themselves. The loosely applied splashes of color and rapid brushstrokes vividly convey the energy and motion of the scene.
