A frame from the battle for the forest sequence. The image shows one of several shots of Antek sneaking through the forest with a rifle. Like all scenes from the battle for the forest, this one was also filmed outdoors, but not in winter, but in summer. The patches of snow visible in the background are elements of the set design placed on the ground and enlarged during the editing process. This is one of two “twin” shots (the other is CH1419) painted by the same artist, Maryna Boiko.
