Premiere of the show at COS Torwar

PEASANTS DANCE REMIXED is a multidimensional performance blurring the line between tradition and modernity. It is a grand celebration of all Slavic culture, combining acoustic folk music with electronics, 19th century painting with modern illuminations and traditional dances with contemporary performance.

On October 13, the premiere event took place at Warsaw's COS Torwar, with performances by L.U.C., Kwiat Jabłoni, Bela Komoszyńska, Kayah, Julia Wieniawa, Laboratorium Pieśni and Kamila Urzędowska, among others, accompanied by dozens of dancers, demonstrations of new painting animations and new electronic arrangements. At the end of the unique event, the artists received a Platinum Record.

It was a wonderful experience. It was a dream come true to combine all fields of art in a great team and in the company of an amazing, open, sensitive, searching and warm audience. Thank you to the whole team for the joint effort! Thank you Warsaw for being present, stomping and dancing together! - says producer and composer Lukasz L.U.C. about the event. Rostkowski.

Thank you to our fans in Warsaw for filling the COS Towar arena and celebrating the 1st birthday of “Peasants” together at the premiere event “Peasants Dance Remixed”. It was great to be part of the crowd and be swept away by this wonderful show, combining music, vocals, choreography, painterly visuals and acting into a mesmerizing whole. - Hugh Welchman adds.

The “Peasants Dance Remixed” project is realized in cooperation with the National Cultural Center. Subsidized by funds from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
