Love, hatred, regret, and pain—all these emotions torment Boryna as he stands with a pitchfork in front of his son. A perfectly painted portrait, with the main character's eyes particularly well depicted. The heightened emotions on Boryna's face are complemented by the softly rendered winter background with snow-covered orchard trees.
