An unpleasant encounter between Jagna and the Organist’s wife outside Jasio’s mother’s house. The woman does not mince her words, and a stunned Jagna flees from the older woman’s wrath. The orchard with beehives visible in the background as Jagna disappears from the frame was inspired by Jan Stanisławski’s painting “Beehives in Ukraine”.
