This shot is a real treat for fans of the film. It comes from scene 038, which was cut during the final stages of post-production. The “Cabbage Party” scene ends with a shot of Marysia (Julia Wieniawa) singing. In the film, immediately after this shot, we see Jagna and Antek in scene 039 in the orchard, in a shot by the tree. However, originally there were three fully painted shots of scene 038 between these two shots. The frame shown here is from the first of them, shot 010. Jagna has just stepped out of the cottage and is looking to the side, searching for Antek standing around the corner of the cottage.
